Comparison of SpaceShipOne and SpaceShipTwo

SpaceShipTwo is more than twice the size of the original, x-prize-winning SpaceShipOne.

Look at that monster!

Reconfigure it to replace the passengers with fuel and I wonder if it could make Low Earth Orbit with 1-2 people on board.

It also emphasizes how small SpaceShipOne is.

SS2 is the size of a small business jet. SS1 is roughly the size of the standard pickup truck that taxied it back to the hanger.

Not the way NASA gets to space, but I guess that's part of the point of all this.
