As I watched this, I was reminded of an idea I had some years ago of small clipboard computers you'd have lying around the house, the way you have pieces of paper or spiral notebooks.

But this idea is much more cool. Some of the things that occurred to me while watching. High tech...

*rubik's cubes
*paint programs, including mixing lines, not just colors
*finger paintings
*magnetic poetry
*idea generator-set each little computer to generate new words and phrases connected with the first computer's word
*algebraic equation builder
Etc.

Very cool.

Imagine playing with these kinds of toys, perhaps thousands of them in VR.

Phil, I absolutely love the idea of Siftables! This is something everyone has to see to believe! You couldn't be more right by saying that the world of technology is exploding right now and the possibilities are endless. I found this product inspiring. I can't wait to see how David Merrill is going to market the idea. My hope is that he will target education first and that it will be an affordable educational tool! It reminded me of a modern day Leapfrog, but even more addicting. I could easily see it being used to help facilitate the populations of ESL students, early childhood, and students with cognitive delays. I predict people of all ages and classrooms from all disciplines will really find this new creative technology tool highly useful! Imagine all the possibilities!
