Punching a Muppet Koala IS a Laugh Riot

It's not often that I disagree with Wired's "Geek Dad" columnist Ken Denmead. We have a lot in common. But I'm sorry, Denmead may have hated it, but I found this Super Bowl ad hilarious:

This ad makes something very funny out of something not funny at all -- being stuck in a horrible job. In real life, hurting a defenseless animal is not funny. But then neither are being verbally abused by your boss, having the urge to scream, or crying uncontrollably. Plus, no koala bears are hurt, even within the "real world" of the ad -- it's a daydream.

"This ad makes something very funny out of something not funny at all"

Proving once again that sometimes the best humor comes from pain.

Comedy is hard.
In part because it's subjective.

FTR- I thought it was really funny. Especially the third of fourth time.

Way funnier than the Dorito's thing. Though I laughed when the snow globe nailed the boss in his globes.
