Very cool idea. Ive been thinking of ways skype can be used to innovate. Wouldn't it be interesting if readers of the Speculist could know if other readers were reading at the same time and be able to use Skype in conference mode to have conversation. I tend to think something like this will be the near future of the net.

And yeah, Skype allows you to see who's available on your contact list.
