Impending Catastrophe

Well, this is scary.

PITTSBURGH—A zombie-preparedness study, commissioned by Pittsburgh Mayor Tom Murphy and released Monday, indicates that the city could easily succumb to a devastating zombie attack. Insufficient emergency-management-personnel training and poorly conceived undead-defense measures have left the city at great risk for all-out destruction at the hands of the living dead, according to the Zombie Preparedness Institute.

And I'm afraid that Denver is just as poorly prepared.

Phil,

Perhaps a little live, er, dead simulation using participants from the Zombie Lurch 2005 and copies of the The Zombie Survival Guide would enable our ES personnel to come up to speed more quickly.

Milwaukee's city government hasn't got a coherent plan for dealing with anything, but the residents are more likely than those of most cities to have shotguns and slug loads for them.

Hey Phil!
I just wanted to say... that is a little creepy.
Well, in all aspects, that is kinda cool as well. Think about it, it is as if a video game came to life. But the likelihood of Zombies actually coming out of the ground to eat our brains is, well, highly unlikely. But the thought of it is kinda creepy.

Hey, i have a question for you.
I am making a new film that i think you may be interested in. It is the twist on the matrix trilogy. In the movie, it turns out that Neo/ The One is a program that the matrix created to restart the program every millenium. Due to the elimination of Agent Smith's virus, he has been reprogrammed with the virus in him. Now, he is roaming around the matrix destroying all of the humans. It is up to the amateur crew of the Siren X to eliminate The One and restore harmony within the matrix.
If you are confused, i can send you a copy of the script. I would really like input from you on the script. So, email me and i will email you the script.
I will talk to you later.
Tell hannah that i say hi.
Bye,
Ryan

Well, the Onion article about the Zombies is only a joke, so not to worry.

Your Matrix story sounds very interesting (copyright issues notwithstanding.) But getting back to your point about the Zombies, maybe it would make a better game than movie -- in fact, that might have been true of the second two Matrix Movies. Maybe the whole Matrix universe is better suited to interactive media (games) than passive media (movies)

I'll pass on your greeting. I guess H is too busy to read her Dad's blog and see it for herself. ;-)
